Wind & Water

The Concept
  • Outdoor Living in Private Tropical Gardens
  • Shady Walkways between Connecting Pools
  • Stunning Views over Romantic Islands

Samui residents have long learned that shade and water are essential ingredients for enjoying the freedom of outdoor living on tropical islands. So it was to shade and water that we turned when designing these luxury garden residences.

  • Safe from Flooding & Privacy Assured

Many luxury villas in Thailand are built on the beautifully barren beaches, which sounds attractive, but in practice are sadly lacking in privacy because beaches are public property in Thailand. Without the use of intrusive walls and fences security and privacy are seriously limited for beach residents.

Additionally beach homes are currently subject to occassional flooding by fluke tides, but the future is becoming more ominous under the increasing threat of rising sea levels due climate change.

  • Easy Access via Safe Government Road

For greater privacy many luxury villas are located on cliff and mountain tops, affording drop-dead views and stunning sunsets. Sadly though both cliff and mountain top villas require long access roads and expensive engineering to ensure the safety of the foundations on the steep, and often crumbly, terrain.

  • Private Entry Guarantees Security

Blue Water Villas share none of these problems. Built adjacent to a long established government road 20 metres above sea level the site climbs up a further 40 metres on a secure, gently sloping private road. Because of the location these villas enjoy the same views as the cliff and mountain top sites, but the structures are set on the solid granite base found beneath the lush layer of garden topsoil.
